Located in the heart of Europe, Wroclaw is the best place for investors

Wroclaw is a national leader in attracting foreign direct investments, a city that is proud of its dynamic economic development, low unemployment rate, high quality of life and vivid startup ecosystem.

 

According to the latest edition of the "Business Environment Assessment Study", based on independent research by Antal, Cushman & Wakefield and Vastint, the capital of Lower Silesia is the best city in Poland for both living and investing.

The city is known for its business-friendly approach: many renowned Polish companies have been established here and foreign investors have recognised Wroclaw as one of the best locations in Europe.

The magnet, that attracts investors to Wroclaw is its dynamically developing infrastructure. The Wroclaw Nicolaus Copernicus Airport offers many direct connections to major transfer ports in Europe.  The city is also located in a strategic triangle between Warsaw, Berlin and Prague. Each of these cities can be reached from the Lower Silesian capital in less than four hours by car.

The areas that Wroclaw focuses on are R&D, modern business services, IT/ICT and Industry 4.0. A large business services sector, software companies, R&D centres and an open and international character are the city's hallmarks.  The city also does not forget to support the continuous development of the local startup ecosystem. Building relationships between corporations, companies from the SME sector, business environment institutions, incubators and universities is key to keeping Wroclaw at the forefront of new technologies in Poland.

Wroclaw is considered the third largest academic Wroclaw in the country. 28 universities, over 107,000 students, which translates into over 27,000 well-prepared graduates for the job market. Wroclaw University of Technology is home to Poland's largest Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications, where students, among other things, learn about cyber security, algorithms, artificial intelligence and ICT.
