Main interview: Sales Force Outsourcing Pages: 136

Dear Readers!
Despite the long winter, outsourcing investments in Poland have not frozen and they are on the increase, according to the Invest in Poland Agency. The first quarter itself brought declarations of launching 37 new BPO/SSC projects, contributing to creation of 9,178 new jobs. Poland and Polish cities are hungry for investment in the sector of modern services, which was confirmed by the authorities of the city of Kielce during the April conference: ”The appetite for outsourcing. Prospects for Development of BPO in Kielce and other cities of Eastern Poland.” Since the beginning this year we have been providing you with information about the investment attractiveness of Eastern Poland; the current issue continues this process dedicating a significant part of Outsourcing&More to the Świętokrzyskie voivodeship and the city of Kielce. While
creating material concerning the region, we cooperated closely with the Investor Service Centre in the Kielce City Hall and with GIgroup and Savills, which prepared HR and Real Estate reports.

Analysing the world of outsourcing services, this time we decided to dedicate this issue to sales force outsourcing, merchandising, mystery shopper programs and promotions worker services. Sales and techniques supporting sales and customer service are key functions in organizations and aim at increasing turnover, and thus revenue and profit in organizations. Sales force outsourcing is one of the most common outsourcing practices, which is used, among others, by telecommunications companies or the FMCG sector. We have also managed to obtain information about the FMCG Trade Fair, which will be held in the city
of Gliwice, and one of topics of the speeches will be sales force outsourcing.

Diversifying forms of publication, with this issue we are introducing feature articles by recognized industry experts. In this issue we have included articles written by Piotr Rutkowski and Pola Czapska.

Inviting you to reading, we would also like to encourage you to visit the OutsourcingPortal, a refreshed on-line platform enriched with a number of new functions, both for service providers, customers, directly and indirectly surrounding the outsourcing sector.
