An unexpected war broke out in Ukraine and completely remodelled many businesses across Europe. Ukraine, one of the top outsourcing destinations in Europe, has already experienced significant exclusion from international business relations. Many Ukrainian companies with operational centres in Kharkiv, Kiev, Odessa, Lviv, and other cities decided to transfer their employees to Poland and beyond. The war in Ukraine will change the lives of many people for many years to come; but it will also change the way many businesses operate. Let us hope that the international care extended towards Ukrainian companies enables them to carry on growing – and thus provide for a dignified life of their employees and their families.
