The event promoted Katowice as a modern centre of the modern business services sector in Poland.

In addition, Mariusz Jankowski gave an introduction to the discussion on global business services (GBS) as an element of urban development.

Are GBS a city's growth engine?  Yes, they are a growth engine, but only when a city and an investor complement and cooperate with each other. If we create a place for investment and they offer jobs that help staff and residents develop, we can create engines for joint development. We can overcome the challenges of the current world only if we work together," Director of the Investors Assistance Dept Mariusz Jankowski concluded his speech on the impact of GBS on urban development.

Participation in ABSL European Forum 2023 gave us inspiration and showed the way to create an even better ecosystem for the modern service sector in our city.
