Dynatrace recruits 150 people for R&D center in Gdansk

Dynatrace is recruiting for its R&D center in Gdansk, the second largest in the company's global structures. The New York Stock Exchange-listed IT solutions provider will expand its team by 150 employees within 3 years. One of the elements of the recruitment support is a newly opened office of 4.2 thousand square meters, located on the 5 floors of the Alchemia office complex.

Dynatrace operates from more than 60 offices located in the Americas, the Middle and Far East, Africa and Europe. It serves 3,000 clients across private and public sectors. The company reported $704 million in revenue in 2020, representing 29% year-over-year growth.

The Gdansk branch is the company's second largest R&D center. The Tri-City team is responsible for the creation and implementation of solutions based, among others, on artificial intelligence and cloud. They enable real-time detection and automatic removal of problems and security gaps in software and IT infrastructure. This allows customers to optimize the use of digital tools and effectively implement new business models.

The current team of 320 people will grow by almost 50% over the next 3 years. In order to develop the Gdansk branch, Dynatrace plans to hire ca. 150 employees - mainly IT specialists. The company is open to employing people from the Pomeranian region as well as from other parts of Poland, European Union, Ukraine or Belarus.

We see the need to expand our staff, because the demand for our services is growing dynamically. We know that in the IT industry gaining the best employees from the market is not an easy task. Our idea of being an attractive employer is based primarily on professional challenges. We give a chance to work on really demanding, innovative and, perhaps most importantly, original projects. Each of our employees has autonomy of action, which means a high level of responsibility for tasks and the ability to challenge the status quo. Our company culture embraces agility and flexibility, which we recognize as key to technology development," says Adam Jakubowski, development Lab lead at Dynatrace Inc.

Recruiting for a new office

Dynatrace attributes the success of its recruitment process to the attractiveness of Tri-City as a place to live and its office, which opened in September 2021 after a complete refurbishment. The company occupies 4.2 thousand square meters on 5 floors of the Platinum building in Alchemia office complex.

After the redesign, the space is visually and functionally similar to Dynatrace branches in other cities, including the headquarters in Linz, Graz and Vienna, Austria. In addition to traditional workstations at desks, employees have rooms and common spaces to suit the nature of the task at hand - individual or group. The office also encourages relaxation. There is a room with a view of the Baltic Sea, a games room and a library. The office's walls are decorated with murals created by Hardziej Studio - the motifs used include astronomy and science-fiction films.
