Our company strategy is focused on implementing solutions that not only effectively support our expertise, but also do not burden the natural environment. In line with the philosophy included in the ESG strategy, we also care about the surrounding of our parks. We are aware of the important role that bees play in the ecosystem, so we decided to adopt six families of bees who lived in white and blue beehives with the Accolade logo on the roof of our Bydgoszcz Panattoni Park investment.

Bees are looked after by professional beekeepers who care about the condition of the family, including by ecologically controlling Varroa Destructor and preparing the family for wintering. Specialists will also collect honey, which at the beginning of June will be poured into several hundred gift jars with the Accolade logo. Bees are surrounded with care, and their hives stand in a safe, peaceful place. With their appearance, bees have increased the number of insects that Accolade invited some time ago to live in special houses. Bumblebees, ladybugs, butterflies and moons are natural exterminators of plant pests. Wild bees, unlike honeybees, lead a lonely life and do not produce honey, but specialize in pollinating flowers. The presence of insects also has a positive effect on human well-being, so our park employees can enjoy working in the company of no less diligent bees.

According to UN reports, the number of bees in the world has decreased by 1/3 in connection with globalization, chemization of agriculture and other human activities. Our planet is our home and we must strive to maintain ecological balance. Albert Einstein claimed that the world without bees will last 3-4 years - without pollination there will be no plants, no animals, and therefore there will be no people. We hope that our activities will contribute to increasing awareness and improving the condition of environment.
