The largest area – more than 2,200 sqm will be occupied by a two-storey Reserved outlet which will be located in one of the most elegant places in the facility, providing a very good display thanks to shop windows with a height of two floors. Other fashion brands – Mohito and the shops addressed to the youth i.e. Cropp, House and Sinsay, will occupy units with areas ranging from 415 to nearly 500 sqm.

“Our decision to open outlets of all the brands from the LPP group in Libero is in line with this year’s strategy of the company, which envisages extending the total area of brick and mortar shops in the best locations in Poland. The southern part of Katowice is considered to be one of such places due to its low saturation with retail offer and high purchasing power of residents of nearby estates. Assets also include interesting architecture of Libero as well as amenities offered indoors, which provide tenants as well as customers with a sense of comfort,” says Krzysztof Bocianowski, leasing and expansion director at LPP.

“The contract with the LPP group is a very important step in the commercialization of Galeria Libero. It is also a proof that LPP, which is an industry leader in Central Europe, appreciates all the distinctive features of Libero, which make it stand out on the retail map of Silesia – its location, comfort and friendly architecture,” says Marek Gładki, director of the commercialization and marketing team in Echo Investment’s Shopping Centre Department.

LPP SA is one of the most dynamically developing clothing companies in Central and Eastern Europe. For over 20 years the company has been consistently operating in Poland and abroad and it has had a lot of success on the demanding clothing market. LPP SA manages 5 fashion brands: Reserved, Cropp, House, Mohito and Sinsay. The company has a chain of over 1,700 sales shops, on-line shops of all its brands and it employs over 22,000 people in its offices and sales structures on three continents and 19 markets. In May it opened its next flagship project in the capital of Germany and this year it is also planning its debut in Great Britain, on the largest European high street – Oxford Street, as well as Serbia and Kazakhstan. LPP SA is quoted on Warsaw Stock Exchange, it is part of WIG20 index and the prestigious MSCI Poland index.

The construction process of Galeria Libero is on schedule. The completion of the shell stage is planned for summer 2017. Advanced commercialization process is in progress regardless of the construction work. Almost 70 pct of the retail area in Libero has been leased.

Libero Katowice. New shopping experience.

Galeria Libero is a new exciting place on the retail map of Katowice – a fresh look at shopping, entertainment, recreation and sport. It is a friendly and comfortable area which has been designed in a thoroughly modern way, however, it features a classical approach to aesthetics. It is a place for meetings, inspiration, fascination and simply having a good time.

More than 150 shops, numerous restaurants, cafes, a cinema multiplex, a fitness club – Libero is the only place in the region to include such extensive sports and recreational offer. It also contains a modern urban square featuring fountains, an amphitheatre, a skate park, an ice rink and some areas for relaxation, stationary games and other outdoor activities.

Libero is being developed on Tadeusza Kościuszki Street in Katowice. Its opening is planned for the spring of 2018.
