We will not forget the Outsourcing Stars Gala for a long time. The event, which has been organized by Pro Progressio for seven years already, this time took place in Poznań on January 23rd, 2020. The interiors of Aula Artis were filled with hundreds of guests who could participate in the industry summary of the year of the outsourcing and modern business services sector.

The Gala was opened by Wiktor Doktór - CEO of the Pro Progressio Foundation, who greeted the gathered guests and undertook to lead the entire event. As every year, the Gala consisted of an official and unofficial part and was conducive to establishing international business contacts in the BSS industry.

The official opening of the Outsourcing Stars Gala was run by Jacek Jaśkowiak, Mayor of Poznań City, who emphasized the importance of the BSS industry for the development of the city. The next speaker was Krzysztof Senger, Member of the Board of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PITA). PITA, has supported the Outsourcing Stars Gala since the first edition, and summaries of the year related to the development of foreign direct investment in the BSS area are a permanent element of the opening ceremony of the Gala.

In this year's Outsourcing Stars Gala, the special guest of the event was Oliver O'Donoghue - Senior Vice President of HFS Research, who presented the gathered results of analysis of BSS sector development in the world. O'Donoghue was also one of the main speakers of the all-day BSS Forum preceding Outsourcing Stars Gala. His lecture enjoyed great interest, especially as he emphasized the latest results of HFS Research conducted at the end of 2019.

As every year, the Outsourcing Stars Gala was also the final of the Outsourcing Stars competition, in which Pro Progressio awards the fastest-growing companies and institutions from the outsourcing and modern business services industry. This year, 13 statuettes and one special award for the Manager of the Year were presented in three main categories: Business, Business Environment and People.

The competition is based on a mathematical algorithm that takes into account the increase in operating activity of the participating companies. The prizes are awarded to the company which in the given category obtains the best result in relation to other participants. Every year, the Gala is accompanied by huge emotions, because the organizers of the competition do not disclose information about who is the winner to the very end. Thanks to this approach, Gala guests are witnessing a real surprise on the faces of company representatives who receive awards on stage.

On January 23rd, 2020, Outsourcing Stars statuettes went to the following organizations:
