September ACCA meeting at the British Embassy

On September 14, the British Embassy in Warsaw hosted a very special event - the ACCA Poland Annual General Meeting (AGM), combined with a Thought Leadership Session, a session highlighted by an interview with Her Excellency the British Ambassador to Poland Anna Clunes.

ACCA, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, is the largest and fastest-growing international organization for finance, accounting and management professionals. The ACCA community worldwide numbers nearly 800,000 people. In Poland, there are 2,200 members, and another 4,700 students are on their way to obtain ACCA qualifications.

At the beginning of the event, Agnieszka Jarosz, Head of ACCA Northern & Eastern Europe, recapped another year of the organization's activities and presented ACCA's future initiatives. The community also had the opportunity to meet the new members of the 6th Term of ACCA Poland Network Panel.

The rest of the event, dedicated to leadership in diplomacy, Her Excellency the British Ambassador to Poland Anna Clunes spoke about:

  • skills and experience, which are key to effective diplomatic leadership,
  • the path of her career in diplomacy,
  • Ambassador's vision for strengthening British-Polish relations.
