The best investors of 2017 awarded by Polish Investment and Trade Agency

Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) for 11th time wraps up the year with an award ceremony attended by distinguished business representatives.

– We conclude 2017 knowing that we carried out our responsibilities well, including foreign investors service and promotion Polish exports – which is our new duty. In terms of FDI we evaluate the Agency’s effectiveness by the stock and the number of jobs created. Moreover, Poland-based companies success could be proved by the number of markets their entered and the revenue they noted thanks to the foreign expansion – head of PAIH, Tomasz Pisula, said during the gala. – We are currently supporting 174 FDI projects with a total value of EUR 5.5bn. Once all the projects completed, 54,000 jobs will be created in Poland – Pisula added.

Awards went to South Korean automotive parts producer LG Chem (Best investment in terms of value), American financial institution J.P.Morgan (Best investment in terms of the scale of employment), Poland’s IT company JCommerce (Best technologically advanced investment), Polish mining solutions provider TDJ SA (Best dynamics of foreign expansion) and Polish analytics firm AutomotiveSuppliers.pl (Best business environment institution).
