Board changes in ManpowerGroup

Iwona Janas, Regional Manager of ManpowerGroup in Poland and in Russia, has been promoted and as of November will take on a new function in the company’s European structures. She was appointed to the role of Vice President and Head of Manpower Europe. At the same time she stepped down from her previous positions. Her function of ManpowerGroup Country Manager in Poland was handed over to Tomasz Walenczak, the foregoing Manpower Brand Director.

Iwona Janas, as Vice President and Head of Manpower Europe, will be responsible for developing and strengthening the Manpower brand in European markets. This is a new function in the organization to ensure a coherent development of the brand across Europe. Iwona Janas was Country Manager in Poland for 18 years and in Russia for 5 years. She was in charge of three brands belonging to ManpowerGroup. While working in the Polish structures of the company, she contributed to the growth of the organization – from 1 to 70 branch offices, from 5 to nearly 600 employees – and to its success in joining the ranks of leaders of HR solutions in the Polish market.

Tomasz Walenczak, in his new role as Country Manager of ManpowerGroup Poland, will enrich his pool of competencies with the management of the whole brand portfolio: Manpower, Talent Solutions and Experis, as well as other organizational structures in Poland. His scope of duties will include, e.g.: creating and implementing the corporate development strategy as well as fostering the company's further growth. Tomasz Walenczak has been working for the company for almost 12 years. He started his career in ManpowerGroup as a Regional Director in 2009 and in less than four years he became Director of one of the company’s business lines. In 2016 he stepped into the role of Manpower Brand Director, which he fulfilled until the end of October 2021.
