Kielce is also attractive due to its location – between two strong centers, which are Warsaw and Kraków, on the S7 expressway, along with modern road infrastructure and availability of human resources.

The city of Kielce is an example of how you can take care of the quality of life and at the same time create conditions for the development of entrepreneurship. Highly qualified staff and competitive employment costs, modern office space and the proximity of large urban centers make it worth locating investments in the business environment sector in Kielce.

Kielce is also a large labor market. BET ON STAFF – PROGRAM A BUSINESS IN KIELCE

In response to the demands of companies representing the modern business services sector in Kielce, the City of Kielce decided to implement measures aimed at the development of human resources for future employers. One of the most interesting initiatives of the City of Kielce in the recent period is the implementation of the project entitled "High-quality qualifications and internships as the key to success in the IT industry", which was created in response to the needs of the IT services market. The project activities were selected so that each of the 80 participating students (profiles of IT technicians and programmer of two secondary schools in Kielce) would gain professional skills, which are so important on the labor market. And so the students took a specialized programming course, where they learned or already developed their skills in the field of Java, Java Script, C # and Python programming languages. In addition, the course covered 10 teachers of IT subjects who, under the supervision of IT experts, developed their skills in learning programming.

In addition, thanks to the favor of the owners of top IT companies, students had a chance to see with their own eyes what the programmer's work looks like and try their hand at IT. 22 entrepreneurs from Kielce showed their willingness to share knowledge with the younger generation of fans of new technologies. For a month, students gained new, practical professional skills and learned about the work culture in the IT environment. The interns received a scholarship for their work. The IT industry is one of the fastest growing in the world, and specialists in this field are in demand on the global job market. Therefore, the project also includes a specialist IT English language course, which provides young people with additional professional skills. In addition to educational activities, as part of the project, an IT lab was renovated, modern equipment was purchased – computers and devices, including visualizers, graphic tablets, a server, robots for learning programming.

Currently, the project activities are continued – another group of students has started programming courses under the supervision of trainers from leading IT companies from Krakow and Warsaw. Young people also continue the specialist IT English language course.

- We are very happy that the obtained funding helps young people acquire important, practical IT skills necessary on the labor market. The IT industry is one of the most important sectors in Kielce. We believe that by helping students, already at the stage of school education, we shape human resources for investors! And this will result in the development of our city – says Bogdan Wenta, Mayor of Kielce.
