ULI Europe appoints Marcin Juszczyk as as the Chair of ULI Poland

The Urban Land Institute (ULI) has announced the appointment of Marcin Juszczyk, Chief Investment Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Board Member, Capital Park, as the Chair of ULI Poland. He officially began his term in October 2023, and will serve on a voluntary basis for the next two years. Marcin succeeds Søren Rodian Olsen, Managing Director, Logicenters Poland. 
 
Marcin holds key positions at Capital Park, a real estate development and investment company, where he oversees investment and finance activity, and is also a Board Member and shareholder. He joined the organisation in 2003, and during his tenure has been involved in over 100 property transactions across Poland, securing more than €1.3 billion in financing and raising €130 million through bonds and shares. 
 
Reflecting on his appointment, Marcin Juszczyk said:

I am deeply honoured to lead ULI Poland, and embrace this opportunity to further the mission of sustainable urban development in our country, and positively impact our industry.

Under the leadership of Juszczyk, a key priority will be to expand ULI Poland’s reach, engage new stakeholders in then Institute’s activities, foster strong collaboration with Polish cities and universities, and develop a high-level programme to engage the expertise of its members. 

We will follow the core principles of connecting active, passionate, and diverse members through the foremost global network of interdisciplinary professionals; inspiring best practices for equitable and sustainable land use through content, education, convening, mentoring, and knowledge sharing; and leading in solving community and real estate challenges through applied collective global experience, noted Juszczyk.

I am very pleased that Marcin Juszczyk, a key industry leader in the Polish real estate sector, will lead ULI Poland for the next two years,  The team and I look forward to collaborating with him and the executive committee to continue to build on the National Council’s strong position, further grow our membership in Poland and the wider region, and embed our global mission priorities locally.

I would also like to express my gratitude to our outgoing Chair Søren Rodian Olsen for the significant contribution he has made to ULI Poland’s continued success and growth, his leadership of the National Council, and his long standing and continuing commitment to ULI, added van Doorn.
