Monopolis is a mixed-use complex localized in an old vodka factory in the center of Łódź.
The enterprise was producing alcoholic beverages (spirit and vodka as well as flavored vodka) since 1902. Virako, which is renowned for office constructions and renovations of old post-industrial buildings, was a company that decided to revitalize the factory. More than century-old buildings are skilfully mixed with modern elements like steel, concrete, and glass. Apart from offices, Monopolis is also a cultural and entertainment center with a theatre, concert venue, art gallery, museum, and kids playroom. In Monopolis there is also a wide range of premium restaurants that offer modern cuisine from all around the world.

The exceptional quality of the revitalization process was appreciated in numerous domestic and international contests such as: "2020 Construction Of The Year” given by the POLISH UNION OF CIVIL ENGINEERS AND TECHNICIANS (PZITB) as well as the International Property Award 2020 in two categories: mixed-use development and commercial renovation/redevelopment.

The most significant award was, without a doubt, a MIPIM award, known as an Oscar of the real estate industry. The renovated factory was nominated in the mixed-use properties category as the only construction from Europe. On the way to winning the prize in 2020, Monopolis defeated 228 projects from all over the world including prestigious developments from  Singapore, Bangkok, and Montreal.

Monopolis stays true to its heritage by being a place to work as well as relax and leisure with friends and family.
