Maracana grows in MLP Bucharest West
The leading European logistics company has expanded its warehouse capacity in MLP Bucharest West. MLP Group was assisted in completing the transaction by JLL, a real estate services firm responsible for the commercialization of the entire logistics park in Romania.
The logistics provider Maracana has signed a lease to expand its warehouse capacity to over 10,000 sqm in MLP Bucharest West. The company has been cooperating with MLP Group since 2021.
Maracana has been active on the Romanian market for over 30 years. It operates a vast fleet of vehicles and offers quick transport services to any destination by various means of transport. Its key values include safety, professionalism and tailor-made solutions. The company is constantly focused on developing safety measures to eliminate any risks that may get in the way of smooth cargo transport. The Group’s priority is to ensure safe and efficient transport services for its clients.

The lease signifies full occupancy of phase 1 of MLP Bucharest West, which saw more than 22,000 sqm built.

MLP Bucharest West is a logistics and manufacturing park with an area of 99,000 sqm at full build-out. It is located in Romania’s key region, only 15 km from the capital city, and has direct access to the city’s ring road and the A1 motorway. The distribution centre boasts a prime location which is undoubtedly one of its key strengths, supporting quick and efficient logistics operations.
