Marynarska Point 1 goes greener

Marynarska Point 1 has gone through a period of major changes making it a more sustainable and functional office building. It saw the completion of refurbishment works which included the revamping of its lift lobbies and main reception area, and installation of modern decorative lighting on its façade. The owner of the building is an investment fund managed by the Adventum Group, while real estate advisory firm Savills is the property manager and sole leasing agent for office space.

The building has had extensive upgrades which were completed in January 2023. All the lift foyers of both shafts on levels from -3 to 10 were revamped and had an energy-efficient lighting control system and LEDs installed. The refurbishment works also included the replacement of tiles, video intercoms and fire doors, as well as the installation of live plants on the walls. In addition, building security and access systems were upgraded and will soon be followed modern proptech solutions.

The main lobby and reception area were also given a complete makeover, with new sustainable LEDs, a new heating and cooling system and live plants added. The building now also features amenities for cyclists who will be able to access changing rooms with lockers and new sanitary facilities in the underground car park as well as new bicycle racks and a self-service bike repair station.

New street furniture and planters with an automatic irrigation system were arranged outside the building to create an enjoyable experience in the new breakout zone, which also features special chairs with foot pedal generators that can be used to charge mobile devices.

“Marynarska Point 1 was acquired by Adventum in 2021 and has ever since gone through many changes. Our ESG strategy focuses on bringing the properties in our portfolio closer to net zero emissions, which is why we opted for energy-efficient solutions throughout the building to make it even more sustainable and functional for tenants,” says Jakub Denus, Leasing Manager, Adventum Group.

In late March 2023, a meeting was held at Marynarska Point 1 for real estate agents who were able to learn about the new sustainable features of the building.

“Marynarska Point 1 currently has ready-to-occupy modern and green office space that can serve as ideal headquarters for any company or institution seeking independence provided by a self-contained building. Smaller office units are also available,” says Lidia Malec, Associate Director, Landlord Representation, Savills.

Marynarska Point 1 is an office building located at 15B Postępu Street in Warsaw. It offers a total of 13,270 sq m of modern office space spread over 10 floors and retail units on the ground floor, with a typical floor plate of around 1,200 sq m. A broad range of amenities within a quick walk from the office buildings are available in the nearby Westfield Mokotów shopping centre. Marynarska Point 1 has been BREEAM In-Use Very Good certified.
