MEDiF set to be new tenant of LIFE Building

MEDiF, a provider of specialist solutions for dentistry, aesthetic medicine and veterinary medicine, will lease almost 900 sqm of office space in the LIFE Building. At the start of August, MEDiF will also open a training centre for doctors.  In the transaction, the landlord, VIG Fund, was represented by JLL Poland, which is the exclusive agent responsible for the commercialisation of LIFE Building, along with legal support from Deloitte Legal. The tenant was represented by Cushman & Wakefield.

MEDiF has over 25 years of experience on the Polish medical market. The company provides innovative solutions and products for dentistry, aesthetic medicine as well as veterinary medicine, and constantly seeks the latest and least invasive solutions. MEDiF places particular emphasis on patient safety and health, taking care of quality and offering only the most reliable of products.

MEDiF will start leasing space in Warsaw's LIFE Building office building as early as August this year. In addition to the office, the building will also house a training centre for doctors, where they will be able to test and learn how to use the latest equipment.

Quality and accessibility were the most important aspects that our new tenant, MEDiF, paid attention to when selecting its new premises in Warsaw. The address at 25 Jana Pawła II Avenue, with its proximity to the M2 'Rondo ONZ' metro station and, above all, the spectacular modernisation of the LIFE Building's interiors, act as a magnet for new tenants in Warsaw. I am very pleased that these assets have been appreciated by a Polish company with many years of experience in the medical services market - says Wiktoria Weilandt, Senior Consultant, Office Agency, JLL.

We are very excited about the growth opportunities that LIFE Building has to offer. Over the past few years, we have opened new sectors in Aesthetic Medicine and Veterinary Medicine along with Large Diagnostic Equipment departments, which required new space for our teams to collaborate creatively. Flexibility and a problem-solving attitude on the part of the landlord helped us find both the optimum office space and ground floor space for our sister training company, Medical Skills Institutes. This space will be used as a showroom for our portfolio and to provide certified training for doctors. We are very grateful to Cushman & Wakefield for assisting us throughout the entire process - from finding the location to signing the lease agreement – says Jacek Nitecki, CEO MEDIF.

- As advisor to the VIG FUND, I would like to thank everyone involved in the contract preparation process for their efficient and constructive work. I am delighted that the LIFE Building, which has recently undergone a significant transformation, has gained a major new tenant – says Jan Bagatela, solicitor Deloitte Legal.

The 13-storey office building LIFE Building, formerly known as Atrium Tower, is located in the centre of Warsaw, at 25 Jana Pawła II Avenue - one of the most well-known landmarks in Warsaw. Because of its central location, the building is well-served by public transport with the M2 underground line, the Rondo ONZ tram stop and bus routes all within easy reach. Its total area is approximately 12,000 sqm. Characteristic features of the office building are zones dedicated to tenants, such as the LIFE_Executive Lounge or LIFE_terrace, where they can hold business meetings, relax with a book from the library, have lunch together or meet with other employees in a less formal setting.

- The excellent location in the very centre of business in Warsaw was one of the most important arguments behind the decision to move MEDiF to the LIFE Building. The move to the new office will significantly improve the comfort of the company's employees, who will enjoy a wide range of services and catering. Of course, the location on Jana Pawła II Avenue also means that the office building is very well connected to the rest of the city, all of which are particularly important at a time when employers are trying to further encourage their team to work from the office. In the process of finding the optimum office space for MEDiF, the ability to accommodate two functions - office and training - was also crucial, and the modernised, state-of-the-art LIFE Building space also proved to be a hit in this respect – comments Michał Stoń, Junior Negotiator, Office Agency, Cushman & Wakefield

The LIFE Building underwent a major refurbishment in 2023, giving it a refreshed image and high quality spaces. In its new guise, the building has become a green oasis, with a distinctive use of nature in the communal spaces and the utilisation of industrial character elements - lush greenery and contrasting steel structures as well as concrete surfaces. Modernity, combined with innovative green solutions, is an integral part of the now changed concept of work-life balance.
