Nobl9 has moved into Nowy Rynek in central Poznań

Nobl9, a US tech start-up, has moved into Nowy Rynek in central Poznań. The owner of the office complex is Skanska Property Poland. Real estate advisory firm Savills advised the tenant during the transaction.

Nobl9 is building an innovative platform to connect monitoring SLOs (Service Level Objectives) with business goals, supporting clients in software reliability and improving metrics that matter to users. It was founded in 2019 by Brian Singer and Marcin Kurc, who had previously sold their former start-up Orbitera to Google. The engineering team of Nobl9 is based in Poznań and comprises 46 members, having doubled in size in 2021.

Nobl9 moved into Building D of the Nowy Rynek project in October and took approximately 900 sq m of office space on its fourth floor.

“We needed to relocate to a new office three times the size of the original one to accommodate the steady, stable growth of our Polish team and our expansion plans for the next few years. The new space will allow us to create a comfortable work environment for about 100 staff - we are still hiring experienced JavaScript and Go programmers, SREs and QA Engineers,” says Grzegorz Agaciński, VP of Engineering at Nobl9, Head of the Polish Office of the US start-up.

“We are delighted that Nobl9 chose our Nowy Rynek project in Poznań for their new office and remain hopeful that they will feel good in the new location and benefit from being based in a larger complex,” adds Małgorzata Wojtoń, Leasing Manager, Skanska CEE Office Division.

“It is already the second time that we have had pleasure to work with Nobl9. Previously, we helped the tenant secure an attractive sublease in a different building. With the contract nearing expiry and the company continuing to grow, our client opted for a long-term lease and relocation to Nowy Rynek. The tenant chose this complex for their new head office on account of its prime location and unique design compared to other office buildings in Poznań,” says Piotr Skuza, Regional Manager, Savills Poznań.

The Nowy Rynek office complex is located in central Poznań, close to Poznań Główny railway station and the Avenida shopping centre. Upon completion it will consist of five buildings with a combined area of 100,000 sq m. The project features a modern design and outdoor communal spaces open to Poznań’s inhabitants.

Building D, which is home to Nobl9, provides approximately 39,000 sq m of modern office space and is the first project in the region to be WELL Core&Shell certified. It is also the only place in Poznań with an anti-smog green concrete pavement.
