Olivia’s New Possibilities

Olivia Centre tenants are in the process of recruiting nearly 2,000 employees, including high-class specialists from other regions of Poland, as well as from other European countries. Now, among the many benefits that await Olivia's new employees, the possibility of renting apartments in the Zaspa neighborhood of Gdańsk will soon be a reality. The rental option will be available to individuals, but also as a supplement to the relocation packages of Olivia Residents’ companies, for their employees.

The building, entirely dedicated to long-term lease, will be managed by an operator company established with the participation of Olivia Centre, which will be responsible for the rental and servicing of the property. The properties are aimed at young, active professionals, for whom comfort and high quality of the rented space are important, but it will also be an additional option for companies renting space at the Olivia Centre, who relocate employees due to the recruitment processes of Polish and foreign staff. Olivia's tenants and their employees will therefore be able to count on a unique package of benefits associated with the rental of an office in Gdańsk. The attractions available, which so far include the tropical Olivia Garden, prestigious restaurants on the 33rd floor of Olivia Star and a public viewing terrace located 130 meters above the ground, as well as an event and conference centre, are joined by the first fully serviced residential building in close proximity to the site of work.

Our residents have always been recruited from other parts of Poland, from neighboring countries, and from Western Europe, but also from Asia and the Americas. - says Maciej Kotarski, director of the commercialization department at Olivia Centre. A completely standard phenomenon in Olivia is that people from a dozen or even more than 20 countries, located on several continents, work for residents of considerable size. In recent years, the scale of foreign recruitment has increased significantly, especially from Ukraine and Belarus, where many employees of IT and logistics companies come from. Some of our residents are able to transfer even several hundred employees, along with their families, to Olivia. Therefore, from next year, we will provide our residents with access to serviced apartments for long-term rental, fully equipped, to a high standard, managed by our teams, which will improve the entire process - adds Maciej Kotarski.

The new investment is called @Home, and its location provides easy and quick access to the Gdańsk business centre in Oliwa, the campuses of the Gdańsk University of Technology, the University of Gdańsk, and the Medical University of Gdańsk. What's more, in less than a quarter of an hour by bike, you can be relaxing on the beach. @Home is a five-storey investment built on Al. Rzeczpospolita in Gdańsk’s Zaspa. Its DNA includes the latest trends in Scandinavian construction, which translates into interesting design, ecology and the high standard of living. It was designed in such a way as to perfectly harmonize with the building characteristic of Zaspa and fit into the surroundings, both in terms of scale and shape. Interestingly, the building is one of the most ecological buildings in Poland, as it was prepared using modular technology, which is said to be the future of the construction market in the world. This model reduces the construction time by as much as half, which translates into less noise and nuisance for the neighborhood. It is definitely an excellent proposition for people looking for ecological solutions in their place to live. Modern technologies used during construction allow a significant reduction in the consumption of electricity and natural resources, and the amount of construction waste and the so-called carbon footprint are up to 90% lower. The technical solutions used in the building reduce the residents' demand for electricity and provide them with acoustic comfort even twice as high as the standards.

The prefabrication and modular construction technology used in the construction of @Home has been developed for 80 years, and in Scandinavia it currently accounts for 80% of the market. This method of implementation allows the building to be made more independent from difficult weather conditions and provides its residents with a greater quality of life. In Japan, this technology is gaining popularity due to its high quality and resistance to earthquakes as well as changing hydrological conditions. The highest quality and fully controlled workmanship standards also allow the construction of high-rise buildings using this system. The largest building already in existence is London's Ten Degrees, located at 101 George Street in the Croydon district. Its towers reach 44 and 38 floors. However, in 2023, the Avenue South Residences, being built in Singapore, will be the world leader, reaching 56 floors and containing 1074 apartments.

Each of the functionally designed premises @Home will be fully furnished. The residents of the premises on the ground floor will have gardens at their disposal, and some premises on the upper floors will have balconies. A perfect complement to the whole is the roof terrace and terraces located on intermediate floors intended for use by all tenants.

As confirmed by Ewa Nowicka, Sales Director, is it not only apartments that are provided to residents, but also a comprehensive offer: In order to guarantee our tenants the highest quality of services, we created our product and a professional operator company based on the knowledge of experienced specialists in the real estate industry, in the rental market in Poland and abroad. @Home tenants will be able to take advantage of convenient system solutions, the help of a dedicated advisor, media accounts, efficient technical service and a wide range of complementary services, which together have a chance to become our distinguishing feature on the institutional rental market. - adds Ewa Nowicka.

Therefore, not only apartments will be available to residents, but also a package of benefits, which includes the unique opportunities offered by the Olivia Centre: Our residences have a number of amenities at their disposal on a daily basis, including attractions in the common areas - from the terrace and restaurant at the top of the highest building in northern Poland, through a tropical winter garden, to participation in hobby groups, sports leagues and year-round sailing in our yacht club - emphasizes Maciej Kotarski. The possibility of living in the building that is handed over for use will give our residents new recruitment opportunities, including the relocation of entire communities, from offices in other countries - to Gdańsk and to Olivia. The changing market means that we want to provide our current and new residents with completely different services, as you can see, going far beyond renting offices. - adds Maciej Kotarski.

More details about the facilities and the full offer will be presented on the website www.athomeliving.pl in early 2022.
