Tink Poland with a new office in Warsaw

Swedish IT company, Tink, will lease 1,700 sqm of new space in the Varso 2 office building, located at 73 Chmielna Street in Warsaw. This is the Swedish fintech company’s second office in Poland – the company’s first is situated in the Hala Koszyki Offices in Warsaw. The JLL team guided Tink through the entire negotiation process and finalisation of the transaction.

Tink was founded in 2012, and ten years later was acquired by Visa. Dedicated to changing the industry for the better, the company has built Europe’s most vibrant open banking platform. Tink offers tools that allow both large banks, fintechs and start-ups to build the future of financial services across Europe.

Worthwhile location

Varso 2 is part of the mixed-use Varso Place development by HB Reavis, which includes offices, a hotel, an innovation centre and retail including restaurants, a fitness club and a medical centre. The project is located in the very heart of Warsaw, next to the Central Railway Station. The office building's employees are able to take advantage of the vicinity of the “Rondo ONZ” metro station and a number of bus and tram lines within a walking distance. Designed by the HRA Architekci studio it is one of the most ecological buildings in Poland. The quality of the design and the standard of environmentally-friendly solutions have been confirmed by a BREEAM outstanding certification, which is the highest-possible level.

“We would like to thank the Tink Poland team for trusting JLL to be their strategic advisor, in the process of conducting the negotiations. We believe that our experience allowed us to choose the location best suited for our client's needs. Our support for Tink also included the design of the space in collaboration with the architectural firm Tetris, which is part of the JLL group, resulting in an innovative employee-friendly space,” believes Jarosław Kwiecień, Senior Consultant, JLL.

Tink Poland will occupy 1,700 sq m of space in the Varso 2 building. The company will begin moving into the new office later this year.
