Unum Życie has again chosen Skanska’s office building

The Insurance company Unum Życie Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń i Reasekuracji S.A. will move into the Studio building at Łucka Street in Warsaw. It is yet another tenant from the financial sector, after Societe Generale, who has chosen this location as their headquarters.

Unum Życie is part of the Unum Group – a leader in the insurance industry in the United States and Great Britain. In Poland, it has been offering group and individual life insurance with one of the widest coverage on the market for 25 years.

– The new head office is a perfect place for our growing organization to provide our clients with the best possible service and achieve ambitious goals. Currently, our company employs over 700 people throughout Poland, almost half of whom work in Warsaw. It is for them that we are preparing new spaces together with Skanska, a company who is a natural choice for us as we share a similar concern for the environment and solutions serving the health and well-being of customers – comments Łukasz Świerczek, Member of the Management Board at Unum Życie.

– Unum is a special partner who has trusted us for the third time. We are proud to support them in relocating their headquarters from Atrium 1 to Studio. This is proof that both Skanska's investments and the quality of customer service we offer are consistently at the highest level – says Paulina Strutyńska, Senior Leasing Manager at Skanska’s commercial development business unit in CEE.

One of the advantages of the Studio is its perfect location. This is a unique address on the map of Wola, with convenient access to two metro stations and an extensive network of trams and buses. Not without significance is also the surrounding bicycle infrastructure, allowing for commuting to work from any part of Warsaw.

High quality and Scandinavian reliability

The Studio building will bring to the Wola district not only futureproof architecture, but also sustainable construction, which is important for the city. Unum employees will benefit from space designed in accordance with the most demanding certificates, such as LEED, WELL or Building without barriers. They will occupy three of the thirteen floors in the building. The planned move is in the third quarter of 2024.

Studio B will deliver 16,400 sqm of office space to the Warsaw market. The authors of the project are the Danish studio Arrow Architects and the Polish Grupa 5 Architekci. As part of the investment, a publicly accessible urban space with year-round vegetation and landscaping was created. The square in front of the Studio will provide a long-awaited connection between Prosta and Łucka Streets and Norblin Factory. Warsaw residents will appreciate this new part of the city as a place to work and play, thanks to its wide range of entertainment and restaurants.
