3M Global Service Center (3M GSC) has been operating in Poland since 2015, when 3M took the strategic decision and chose Wrocław to be its first global business services location (the other two are located in Costa Rica and the Philippines). We deliver services in the areas of Marketing & Sales, IT Applications (global operations support in demand, support and supply), IT Operations (IT Security, Business Intelligence, IT Quality, Basis), Hire to Retire, Simplification & Process Automation, Record to Report, Source to Pay, Master Data Management and Intercompany.

Despite ongoing 3M’s global business transformation, the center has succeeded not only as shared services’ center as such, but also shifted from traditionally associated with SSC transactional services to GBS center. Almost 4 years after launching the center, with terrific growth and portfolio extension as well as the success of operating model, we now concentrate on implementing operating model 2.0, more strategic and analytical processes, change management, Knowledge Process Outsourcing, Customer Focus, end-to-end approach: to proactively affect service delivery, value realization and decision process in 3M.
